In this Role, you’ll get to
- Support our HRSSC team on the EMEA employment lifecycle operations (new hire support; onboarding, offboarding, absence case support), maintain accurate employee records, prepare HR documents, coordinate visa processing, and oversee attendance management.
- Ensure ongoing compliance with local employment legislation, HR policies, and internal governance frameworks, proactively identifying risks and supporting policy updates and improvements.
- Lead country internal and external audits, evidence, remediation tracking, and implement assigned country HR governance and control standards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and HR Business Partners, providing pragmatic guidance on performance management, conduct, organisational change impacts, and employee relations matters.
- Support on employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, investigations, performance issues, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair, consistent, and legally compliant outcomes.
- Offer Employee, Managers and HRBPs support: Serve as the first point of contact for HR inquiries, provide accurate policy guidance, and escalate complex issues to HR team members as needed.
- Design and build employee engagement, wellbeing, and culture initiatives, advising on local nuances and supporting implementation
- Partner closely with HR Shared Services and HR Operations to ensure effective delivery of employee lifecycle processes and smooth case handovers where required.
- Ensure local compliance and governance: adherence to local employment laws, provide insight on local labour market trends, assist with compliance reporting and audits, update HR policies, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- HR Systems & Data Management: Maintain and update HRIS, generate reports, analyse HR data, manage information and employee documentation.
- Lead or contribute to local HR projects, policy rollouts, and continuous improvement initiatives.
What you'll Need to Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 5-7 years experience, with strong focus on HR Operations, Risk and Compliance, (Employee Relations experience, desired but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience managing complex ER cases end-to-end, including investigations and high-risk employee matters.
- Strong working knowledge of local employment law and practical ER application.
- Proven experience advising and coaching managers on performance management, conduct, and sensitive employee issues.
- Experience contributing to HR policy development, implementation, and continuous improvement.
- Comfortable operating in a matrixed HR environment alongside HRBPs, HR Operations, and CoEs.
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills, with sound judgement and discretion.
- Mandarin language skills are a bonus but not essential.
