Tasks
Our TAKE-OFF trainee program will introduce the participants to the LH Group and its culture, provide an environment for personal growth and provide the mentoring that is required to becoming a valuable part of Lufthansa America.
In this role your main tasks include, among others:
- Design, develop, and implement projects according to departmental objectives and business priorities
- Contribute to strategic concept development to drive innovation and strengthen the LHG’s competitive position in the industry
- Analyze data and business processes, provide feedback for improvement, and recommend change management actions to support effective solutions
- Build a strong understanding of operations by collaborating with leadership, department heads, and cross functional teams, and job shadowing
- Drive innovation by proposing digital and forward thinking solutions that enhance the Lufthansa Group’s market position
- Complete all assigned activities and training modules throughout the program
- Perform all other duties assigned or delegated by supervisors

Requirements
To thrive in this role, we value a combination of the following requirements:
- Graduated within the last 3 years from Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in the fields of Business, Economics, Engineering, Social Sciences, Political Science, Psychology, Aeronautics, or comparable
- Experience in Aeronautics Industry & Processes desirable
- Fluency in English
- MS Office proficiency
- Eligible to work permanently in the U.S. (as a U.S. Citizen or Resident). Note that Student Visas do not meet this requirement
- Independent and proactive approach
- Innovative and open to change
- Communication skills
- Willingness to travel
