What you will do
As a Business Development Manager for South Korea, you will be responsible for our international expansion by identifying and closing new business within the South Korean market. Reporting to our Regional Sales Director, you will manage the full sales cycle, from initial prospecting and cold calling to contract negotiations. You will act as a consultant to our clients, creating proposals that meet their needs while supporting Lighthouse’s commercial goals. This role is for a proactive individual who enjoys building a territory and providing a feedback loop between the market and our Product Development team.
Where you will have impact
- Identify and secure new client opportunities through cold calling, email campaigns, and networking within industry groups across South-Korea.
- Manage the end to end sales process, with a strong focus on outbound prospecting, including reaching out to new prospects, conducting product demonstrations, and preparing tailored proposals.
- Create and execute a business development plan to meet sales targets and improve local processes.
- Act as a link between the South Korean market and our internal Product teams by sharing client feedback.
- Find and close opportunities to upsell within our existing client base.
- Attend industry conferences and organize regional roadshows to build our presence in the APAC region.
- Help define the 'Lighthouse way' by using AI insights and automation within our CRM to improve forecast accuracy and daily efficiency.
About our team
You’ll be joining our Sales team within the wider Revenue department. We are a global team of over 150 sales professionals across 24 countries. You will be part of our APAC hiring department—a team of 36 people focused on growing our market share in both mature and emerging territories. We work closely with hotels and short-term rental providers to help them improve their revenue through our technology.

Who you are
- Proven experience in business development, ideally within hospitality tech or SaaS, with a track record of meeting targets.
- Experienced in lead generation, pipeline management, and delivering product presentations or webinars.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage stakeholders.
- Fluent in written and spoken English and Korean (additional Asian languages are a plus).
- A self-starter who handles challenges well and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
- Interested in how automation and generative AI can improve your daily workflow, such as forecasting and deal execution.
