In this Role, you’ll get to:
- Take ownership of monthly payroll draft preparation and work closely with the payroll vendor to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Manage and enhance employee benefits programs (insurance, wellness, and other perks)
- Develop and handle manpower budget and provide reporting to global HQ
- Manage onboarding/offboarding programs
- Plan and implement employee training and development initiatives
- Identify learning needs and collaborate with the global L&D team to deliver leadership and functional training
- Plan and execute employee engagement surveys and follow-up action plans
- Organize employee events, CSR activities, and internal communication programs
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance organizational culture
- Manage employment contracts, disciplinary actions, and termination processes
- Ensure compliance with Korean labor laws and address employee relations issues in collaboration with external labor attorneys
- Handle labor inspections and prepare required documentation for government authorities
- Localize and improve HR policies and processes
- Manage HR data and maintain HRIS (e.g., Workday)
- Partner closely with BU HR and global HR teams to ensure alignment and effective local execution
What you'll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 5-7 years of HR experience (generalist or business partner role preferred)
- Solid understanding of Korean labor law and HR practices
- Hands-on experience across multiple HR functions (C&B, L&D, Employee Relations, etc.)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders
- Fluency in English for effectiveness communication with HQ and regional HR teams
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in multinational companies, IT, internet, or travel industry is a plus
