Job Purpose
This role revolves around marketing the right products at the optimal price through the right marketing channels to fill our Emirates aircraft from Germany to our home airport in Dubai and beyond.
We are looking for experienced, enthusiastic, and hands-on individuals. You must be flexible, innovative, and passionate about your work, and able to work successfully both as part of a team and independently.
- Strategic expansion of brand presence to become a leading premium tour operator in the German market
- Planning and implementation of the annual marketing plan (in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders), including budget responsibility
- Strategic planning and operational implementation of seasonal campaigns
- Adaptation of global campaigns for the DACH market
- Management of online and offline marketing activities
- Planning and implementation of trade fairs, sponsorship events, and other B2C activations
- Continuous ROI reporting for all marketing activities to measure the success of implemented measures and identify optimization potential
- Planning, negotiation, and implementation of marketing activities in cooperation with hotels and tourism associations
- Responsibility for the further development of existing email marketing and website content with regard to SEO and current and future trends
- Editing of German-language texts on travel and vacation topics
- Briefing of external designers and agencies, as well as independent creation of brand-compliant assets for all marketing channels (e.g., brochures, other print materials, trade fair equipment, etc.) Digital and social media
- Professional and disciplinary management of two employees
- Close collaboration with the sales and product team as well as the online marketing team in Dubai
Qualification
- At least 5 years of professional experience in marketing and e-commerce, ideally with a tour operator
- Completed degree with a focus on marketing/communications
- Affinity for and passion for tourism and the destinations of the Middle East and Indian Ocean
- Very good knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar newsletter tools, CMS tools, Google Analytics, Photoshop & MS Office; desirable: Google Ads, SISTRIX, Power BI, MicroStrategy
- Strong business and numerical understanding, as well as proficiency in Excel and an analytical approach to work
- High level of self-motivation, self-organization, teamwork, resilience, and commitment to achieving performance and business goals
- Persuasiveness and decisiveness
- Ideally, experience leading a small team
- Willingness to travel
- You must have the legal right to live and work in Germany. The Company will not assist in obtaining visas/work permits.
- You must have good communication skills in written and spoken German and English. Must be a native German speaker
- Internal staff can only apply if they have completed a minimum of 1 year of service with the Company/in their current position
