Job Description
- Lead the development of innovative soft products that elevate every customer touchpoint across the Qantas network, driving excellence in comfort, service and design – including passenger amenities, bedding, tableware and service equipment.

Join Qantas as our
Manager Passenger Products, where you’ll lead a dynamic team of product specialists in shaping the future of inflight customer experience across our global network. Reporting to the Head of Inflight Experience and Product Design, you’ll own the development and lifecycle management of soft passenger products—from concept to delivery—ensuring that every touchpoint reflects Qantas’ commitment to excellence. You’ll drive governance and reporting frameworks that keep projects on track and within budget, identifying opportunities for cost transformation and operational efficiency.
In this high-impact role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Procurement, Inflight Operations, Service Design, Cabin Crew, Engineering, and Risk & Audit to deliver products that align with Qantas’ core values. You’ll oversee supplier relationships, ensure supply chain assurance, and manage auditing activities in line with company policy. With responsibilities spanning resource planning, workflow management, and risk mitigation, this is a unique opportunity to influence the passenger experience at every level and make your mark on one of Australia’s most iconic brands.
You’ll have –
- 5–10 years’ relevant experience in the airline or adjacent industries, with a strong background in inflight product development and customer experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, with additional certifications in Project Management and/or Product Development or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven ability to lead complex product programs with structured governance, milestone tracking, and risk management.
- Demonstrated success in coaching, mentoring, and managing specialist teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Expertise in translating customer insights and strategic goals into differentiated inflight product experiences.
- Skilled in building relationships and influencing across diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in managing supplier partnerships, negotiating contracts alongside Procurement, and ensuring service level compliance.
- Strong analytical and commercial skills to balance customer experience with cost transformation and operational feasibility.
