Marketing Programme Principal Specialist- Field Marketing
Summary Of The Role
This role focuses on coordinating meaningful, account‑focused marketing activities in Japan, especially senior‑level customer events and Account‑Based Marketing (ABM – Account Based Marketing) initiatives. You will work closely with Sales and Commercial teams to create engaging customer experiences and support business goals for priority accounts.
In This Role, You Will
- Own and drive Account based marketing activities for Japan market
- Coordinate the planning and delivery of Japan Week and other key customer engagement events.
- Oversee event logistics, including venues, suppliers, production, invites, and attendee coordination. You will also conduct post-event reporting and leads follow up. Budget management required.
- Organize senior‑level customer activities such as roundtables, small in‑person sessions, and monthly webinars aligned with regional themes.
- Work closely with Sales teams to ensure events, tactical campaigns and ABM activities support revenue and pipeline aims.
- Functional experience and understanding of digital & social media marketing and communications to collaborate & support cross-functional teams on key initiatives within Japan market.
- Collaborate across teams to align event and marketing activities within Japan and the broader region.
About The Ideal Candidate
- 10 + years experience coordinating B2B events, including engagement with senior customer stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the Japan market and competitive landscape, preferably of the travel industry.
- Proficient both English and Japanese communication skills.
- Experience with Account‑Based Marketing (ABM) in B2B or SaaS environments.
- Ability to partner effectively with Sales teams and support business goals.
- Strong communication, project management and organizational skills, with ability to work independently and with varied stakeholder groups.
