What You’ll Do
- Lead primary sales efforts for Banquet Food & Beverage, including menu planning and agenda development
- Conduct detailed event planning, from initial concept through on‑site execution
- Review contracts to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with client needs
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, providing guidance before, during, and after each event
- Facilitate effective communication with all hotel departments to deliver seamless service
- Host site tours and represent the hotel with professionalism and confidence
- Build and maintain strong long‑term customer relationships
- Participate in — and at times lead — internal event meetings and team collaborations
- Partner closely with an assigned Administrative Assistant and other support staff to ensure flawless operations
- Uphold the polished, guest‑focused environment that defines Seaview

Qualifications
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1-3 years of hotel event sales/event planning, completed Event Management trainee program or comparable experience preferred
- Bachelor's degree and/or 2+ years of hotel and/or food & beverage experience preferred
- Previous selling experience
- Experience working and meeting a quota
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally & in writing, with public and other Team Members
- Understanding of negotiation and interpretation of contracts
- Have comprehensive knowledge of all operational departments within the hotel; guest services, reservations, housekeeping, audio visual, banquets, accounting, restaurants and engineering
- Knowledge of meeting room set-ups and capabilities, sleeping room configurations and types
