Breakfast Attendant
Property: Hyatt Place RDU Airport
Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time, Hourly
Schedule: Early mornings, weekends & holidays required
Position Overview
The
Breakfast Attendant helps start our guests’ day on the right note by preparing, replenishing, and maintaining the complimentary breakfast area while delivering warm, attentive service.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, maintain, and break down the breakfast buffet according to Hyatt Place standards
- Prepare light food items (e.g., eggs, breakfast meats, pastries, cut fruit, etc.) as required
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper temperature controls
- Keep breakfast and dining areas clean, well-stocked, and inviting
- Greet guests, assist with special requests, and clear tables promptly
- Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house prep and storage areas
- Adhere to food safety, sanitation, and health department standards
- Communicate product needs and equipment issues to leadership
- Support F&B and front desk teams as needed
Qualifications
- Prior hotel or restaurant experience is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work early morning shifts reliably
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and guest service
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 30 lbs
