Job Purpose
Job Outline:
- Exercise commercial judgment for early seat retrieval from allocations through negotiation with the client.
- Assist the HQ Revenue Optimization team to secure appropriate space and price approval in a timely manner.
- Handle all relevant administrative functions associated with group quotations promptly and efficiently in order to maintain customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Maintain a database relating to the above areas and produce the relevant statistics and reports in order to monitor materialization and agency revenue performance on a route-by-route basis.
- Manage dedicated group mailbox & daily group queues and handle relevant correspondence to trade and private customers.
- Set up and manage large series groups and ad hoc seat allocations, to ensure wastage is mitigated through optimized utilization.
- Ensure agency partners understand EK’s groups policy terms and conditions. Ensure compliance with all conditions and raise ADMs when necessary. Ensure timely receipt of groups deposits and timely refund of any amount to be returned to the agency once the group has travelled.
- Assist the Sales Manager and wider sales team with any delegated administrative tasks.
Qualification
Experience
- Minimum of 4 years’ airline reservations experience, preferably in a groups environment. Supervisory experience preferred.
Knowledge
- Good working knowledge of fares and ticketing.
- Good knowledge of airline group bookings and seat allocations.
- Familiar with analysing data and providing relevant statistics.
- Proficient in all MS Office applications including Excel and Word.
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work independently using own initiative
