About the Role
- Senior Travel Consultants play a key role in a Corporate Travel Management. They are valued contributors, and we believe that the company’s success grows alongside the development of each individual.
- In this role, you will manage end-to-end corporate travel arrangements, including air travel, accommodation, car hire, visas (where applicable), and related services, ensuring smooth and successful journeys for clients. This position suits a detail-oriented, customer-focused professional who thrives in a team environment and consistently delivers high productivity and service quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Process all client requests, including new bookings and amendments, in line with documented travel policies.
- Plan itineraries and arrange air travel, hotel accommodation, and car rentals.
- Issue and reissue tickets accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor waitlists and manage online booking tool rejected queues for ticket issuance.
- Promote fares, rates, and suppliers aligned with clients’ travel program, policies, and negotiated agreements.
- Build and maintain professional client relationships via phone and email.
- Meet individual and contractual service level targets for calls, emails, and productivity.
- Perform accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Support management and colleagues, comply with company policies, and assist with special projects.
- Work independently with minimal supervision.
- Adapt to change and take on additional responsibilities as required.
- Coach and mentor junior team members when needed.
- Step in to support the Team Leader when required.
- Participate in ongoing training to maintain product knowledge and essential soft skills.
- Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a corporate travel agency environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of Sabre is an advantage.
- Solid understanding of airline, hotel, and car rental ticketing procedures.
- IATA/UFTAA certification preferred.
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for the Travel Consultant role.
