What makes event sales with us so special is that you are not only responsible for the Berlin Marriott Hotel, but also for our sister properties, The Ritz-Carlton Berlin and Courtyard Berlin Mitte, which are market leaders in their respective segments.
To strengthen our team, we are looking for a
Berlin Sales Office Manager (m/f/d) to start immediately on a full-time basis.
This is what your day looks like:
- You work as part of a large team
- You sell group allocations and conference rooms for three hotels
- You support clients from the initial inquiry through to contract conclusion
- You handle inquiries and prepare offers and contracts for large and complex requests, including exclusive buyouts
- You conduct site inspections
- You pass on all relevant information to the event management team of the respective hotel
- Your daily business includes high-profile large-scale events, luxurious incentives, groups and conferences across all industries, as well as exclusive bookings
What we are looking for:
- Completed vocational training in the hotel or event sector and several years of experience in event sales
- The ability to confidently represent and sell multiple brands
- A strong understanding of the needs of different guest segments
- Excellent communication skills and strong negotiation abilities
- An independent and well-structured working style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Persuasiveness and negotiation skills
- Very good English skills (spoken and written)
- Ideally, some prior experience with Opera S&C
