About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic, commercially driven and strategic leader to lead CTM's corporate sales growth across Asia. The General Manager, Corporate Sales, Asia will be responsible for developing and executing the regional corporate sales strategy, driving new business and revenue growth, strengthening key client relationships and leading a high-performing sales organisation across the region.
This is a hands-on regional leadership role. The successful candidate will personally drive strategic and high-value opportunities while providing the commercial direction, leadership and market insight needed to accelerate growth across Asia.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Leadership & Growth:
- Develop and execute CTM's corporate sales strategy across Asia, driving revenue, profitability and sustainable growth.
- Set regional sales priorities, targets and KPIs, and build a strong pipeline through proactive business development.
- Personally lead strategic, high-value sales opportunities, tenders and RFPs, particularly for multinational and regional clients.
- Leverage global and local market capabilities to identify and convert regional growth opportunities.
- Monitor market and competitive trends to strengthen CTM's position in Asia.
Commercial Performance & P&L Management:
- Own the commercial performance of the Asia corporate sales business, including P&L, budgets, forecasting and resource allocation.
- Monitor sales performance, pipeline conversion and financial results, identifying opportunities to improve productivity and profitability.
- Provide senior leadership with clear updates on performance, opportunities, risks and recommendations.
Leadership & Organisation Development:
- Lead, motivate and develop sales leaders and teams across Asia to achieve and exceed business targets.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, customer focus and continuous improvement.
- Coach and develop sales leaders and high-potential talent to strengthen regional commercial capability.
Strategic Client & Business Development:
- Build strong relationships with key multinational, regional and strategic corporate clients and C-suite stakeholders.
- Lead major client negotiations, strategic accounts and complex sales opportunities, developing compelling TMC solutions and value propositions.
- Identify opportunities to consolidate regional and global corporate travel programmes.
- Champion CTM's brand and represent the Company at key industry, client and regional events.
Regional & Global Collaboration:
- Partner with global and local leadership to align Asia's commercial strategy and share best practices.
- Collaborate with Operations, Technology, Finance and other functions to deliver effective client solutions and commercial strategies.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and translate them into actionable growth initiatives.
- Support strategic projects and other initiatives that contribute to CTM's regional and global objectives.
Market & Brand Leadership:
- Maintain a strong understanding of the corporate travel and TMC landscape across Asia, including market trends, technology, supplier developments and changing customer expectations.
- Champion CTM's brand and value proposition within the corporate travel market.
- Represent CTM at key industry, client and regional events to strengthen market visibility, relationships and business opportunities.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and translate them into actionable commercial strategies.
Other Responsibilities:
- Support senior leadership on strategic initiatives that contribute to CTM's regional or global objectives.
- Undertake other responsibilities as required to support the continued growth and development of the Asia corporate sales business.
Skills and Experiences
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in corporate sales, business development, corporate travel, TMC or a related B2B commercial environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in senior sales, commercial or business development leadership, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering significant revenue growth.
- Strong TMC/corporate travel expertise and understanding of corporate travel buyers, solutions, technology and industry landscape.
- Proven success in regional sales strategy, new business acquisition, revenue growth and strategic account development across Asia/ASEAN.
- Strong track record managing complex sales cycles, tenders/RFPs and multinational or regional corporate accounts.
- Ability to combine hands-on business development with strategic regional leadership, personally driving key opportunities while leading high-performing teams.
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills, with experience developing sales leaders and teams.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including P&L, budgeting, forecasting and resource management.
- Strong understanding of market trends and customer needs, with the ability to turn insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Excellent executive presence, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging C-suite clients.
- Experience in a multinational, regional or matrix environment preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience; willingness to travel across Asia.
