About the Role
The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for identifying targeted corporate travel opportunities and developing tailored sales strategies to drive business growth. This is more than a traditional sales role. Success comes from understanding a client's business, travel needs and strategic priorities, and developing the right travel solutions to create value for both the client and CTM.
The role takes a consultative, solution-led approach to sales — combining market insight, business understanding and CTM's service and product capabilities to deliver compelling solutions rather than relying on a hard-sell approach. The successful candidate will connect client business needs with the right travel solutions, identify growth opportunities and build strong, long-term corporate relationships.
Primary deliverables.
- Research, formulate and prepare sales strategies and account acquisitions plans to attain new corporate clients and expand new markets for existing clients.
- Develop winning value propositions for clients as part of the qualification process.
- Being involved in the regional strategic and operations sales planning initiatives.
- Represent CTM in the marketplace on a professional basis to increase market and brand awareness.
- And most importantly achieve your annual sales target.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5+ years in a sales/ business partnership position in the travel industry.
- Demonstrated ability to align and tailor your “sell” to match the client’s requirements.
- Previous experience in building pipelines, segmentation, overseeing tenders, reporting to sales.
- Prompt status updates on CRM.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
- Acute business analytic acumens.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Effective time management is a must have.
- Ability to connect with audience during presentation skills to articulate value propositions of CTM.
