As a Group Sales Manager – Domestic, you’re not just growing the hotel’s domestic group business—you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by building lasting client relationships, driving revenue opportunities, and creating memorable experiences that make every guest’s stay exceptional.
Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Drive domestic group sales: Identify, prospect, and convert new domestic group business while managing a portfolio of existing accounts to achieve individual and hotel revenue goals.
- Execute sales strategies: Implement sales initiatives aligned with the hotel's commercial strategy, focusing on increasing group room revenue and supporting catering and event opportunities.
- Develop client relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, meeting planners, associations, intermediaries, and key domestic accounts to generate repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate on pricing and proposals: Work closely with Revenue Management and Commercial Leadership to develop competitive proposals, negotiate contracts, and secure profitable business that aligns with hotel revenue objectives.
- Analyze market opportunities: Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and account performance to identify new business opportunities and adjust sales strategies to maximize results.
- Represent the hotel in the market: Participate in sales calls, networking events, trade shows, client presentations, site inspections, and familiarization trips to promote the hotel's group offerings and strengthen brand presence.
- Coordinate a seamless customer experience: Partner with Catering, Events, Revenue, and Hotel Operations to ensure a smooth transition from the sales process through event execution, delivering exceptional experiences for every client.
- Manage sales performance: Maintain accurate account information, sales activities, and forecasts within Hilton's sales systems while consistently meeting productivity standards and individual sales targets.
